Pharmicell(005690, co-headed by Kim, Hyeon-Soo and Kim, Seong-Rae) published its research to prove its stem cell culture media is effective in skin moisturizing and anti-wrinkle care in the world’s top journal in skin condition.
The research is titled as ‘Conditioned Medium from Human Bone Marrow-derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC-CdM) Promotes Skin Moisturization and Effacement of Wrinkles in UVB-irradiated SKH-1 Hairless Mice’ on the latest edition of the Journal of Photodermatology, Photoimmunology & Photomedicine’.
The study was carried out on photoaging cells and animal models by prof. Kim Beom Joon from the Department of Dermatology of Chun-Ang University using stem cell culture media produced by Pharmicell.

The study shows that overall wrinkles notably decrease after administering the stem cell culture media to UVB-irradiated mice. In particular, its effects in reduction of skin water loss and hydration prove that the medium is effective in moisturizing, and histologically anti-wrinkle effects and collagen increase are observed as well.
