Pharmicell holds a Large-scale Academic Symposium, ‘The Next Generation Stem Cell Therapy’

Pharmicell (co-headed by Kim, Hyeon-Soo and Kim, Seong-Rae, 005690) announced on 27th that it would hold a large-scale regular symposium at Osong, Chungbuk, the biotech hub in Korea on Saturday, February 7th.

 

The symposium is designed to serve as a venue for stem cell experts from diverse fields gather together to review the current status of stem cell therapeutics and to share recent advances and know-hows on the development of the next generation stem cell therapeutics using integrated biotechnology.

 

Sessions start after Dr. Kim Sung Wan from the University of Utah, a world-renowned expert in new drugs development gives his keynote lecture, ‘Polymer / Stem Cell and Gene Delivery’.

 

The symposium includes three sessions such as ‘Current status of stem cell therapy and development of the next generation stem cell therapy’, ‘Basic research for developing an improved stem cell therapy’, and ‘Importance of mesenchymal stem cell therapy clinical trials’ and its main speakers are Kim Seong Wan from the Unicersity of Uta, prof. Baek Soon Gu from Yonsei University Wonju Sevrance Christian Hospital, and prof. Kang Yup from Institute for medical sciences of Ajou University Medical center.

 

“This will be a great opportunity to learn how bio-nano-chemistry fusion technology can be applied to developing stem cell therapy from leading researchers of domestic universities and research institutes along with presentations on successful research findings about Pharmicell’s stem cell therapy from ongoing clinical trials. I ask for active participation and support from researchers and clinicians,” said Kim Hyun Soo, Pharmicell’s CEO.
